If you read these please start from the first day.
The word of the day is Wordle! Wordle! Wordle! The New York Times
Digital daily game that gives you six chances to figure out the spelling of a five letter word. I started playing it about a year and a half ago. I got my streak uo to like 200 straight wins then my phone reset and all my progress was lost. So I started over and on my wife’s birthday 3/6/24 I reached a 300 game win streak. Then last night at 1159 PM (no joke, 1159PM), I realized I had not done it for the day. So I hurry up and look up the answer on a website (cheat code) and try to input it. To my dismay I was like 7 seconds too late. The word you ask -vey ironically “EARLY”. Then I looked at my stats and I was pretty crushed. I went from a 300 win streak to a one game win streak. So from my math I'll be back at 300 wins on or about January 2nd 2025.
I told no one I played this game, it was just something I did everyday to try and keep the mental faculties on their toes. It was my little secret that absolutely no one cares about. I'm glad I do these everyday. It gives me a little endorphin rush everytime I get the word correct. Two times I guessed it on the very first try; those days were pretty cool.
The point of this story. while not really life changing, if you have to do something for yourself that gives you some type of gratification. Everyday I can accomplish something that makes me feel good. But on the flip side I laid in my bed last night staring at the ceiling knowing I missed the word by like 10 seconds. Definitely not the end of the world and it's no one's fault, except my own but it still stings a little. Oh, well. I'm glad I have a bed to lay in, a phone to do it on, glad I can read the words, glad I have a wife to wake up at 1215 AM to tell so she can laugh and tell me to shut up and leave her alone and most of all glad zi get to come into work the next day and write about it on my blog for my website.
Tha Artwork-It's Bender from Futurama. Overall I think he came out ok but there's something about him that's not perfect. I'm not sure if it's the proportions of colors but something seems off. I never realized how many different shades of gray there are until I drew this guy.
Day 67 and not a word from my family as to why I abruptly stopped drawing after doing it everyday for a year.
The next person to message me and say “I want $60”, I will send a $60 gift card.
(This is only good for the first person who messages me. If someone messages me and I don't respond please call the number om the website and demand your money. )
