The Sixty Third One 3/6/24

If you read these please start from the first day.

Part three of three of the pieces of advice my former boss always gave me-”Keep your commitments”. This ties into the one from yesterday a little but it also stands on  its own. This is just saying that if you tell someone you're going to do something-THEN DO IT!. If I tell you I'm going to be somewhere at 9AM, then you better darn well be there (sorry about the cursing). This is so important to the moving business. People are already stressed to the max and they are depending on us as a company to show up on time and do the move for them. Of course sometimes we might be a little late because of a few different reasons but we will always be there. I can proudly say that after eight years in business and probably close to 10,000 moves we have never called and canceled on a client. We’ve rescheduled some when the client was able to but never canceled. Even if it's me and a few guys from the office or we have to rent a truck, we are going to get the job done! We probably get five calls a week from clients who say other moving companies have stood them up or canceled. How can they do that? Moving is already so stressful then to have a company cancel on someone at the last moment is crazy to me.

The Artwork-I like this one. It's Charlie Brown! When newspapers were still read I used to read this comic strip everyday. I like the colors on this one and his head's so big. But I did the measurements and proportions and I guess they're right. Plus the ways his eyes, eyebrows, hands and big goofy smile convey who he seems to be. I did find it strange how he only has one strand of hair.

Day 65 and not a word from my family as to why I abruptly stopped drawing after doing it everyday for a year.
