The Thirty First One-2/3/24

Another awesome Saturday. It's my day off but I still drove up here to the office to dp this blog. I've made a commitment to write a blog everyday for a year so I'll do my best to keep this commitment. I currently don't have a home computer or laptop but I think that will change soon so Ill be able to do it from home. 

Even though I realize everyone wakes up everyday to read these because of the exciting content there's really not a alot to report on the moving front. But I was in bed thinking how lucky I am to have this problem. I moved here to Florida when I was 19 with a H-E-B (Texas Publix) that had like a pair of socks, a shirt and one shirt. I'm not exaggerating. I dont think I even had a toothbrush. A friend and his wife had a one-yr-old baby and they let me sleep on their couch. He was only like 22 yrs old, she was lie 20, we thought we knew it all but in reality we knew nothing. From there I was able to get a job, eventually graduate college, get married and have the best two children in the world, host a television show for seven years and now I have started a moving company that is in its eighth year. It wasn't easy. So when I don't have a lot to say about the moving company some days, it's not as bad as having to search the couch for $1 in change to buy a Totino's pizza to eat for dinner that night. That really happened. I'm so lucky now but it's also because I worked and hustled and scratched my way to where I am. Many sleepless nights wondering how the bills were going to be paid or how I was going to get to work or how I was going to eat, but it always worked out. I asked for help, many people said "no", more people said "yes". There was only one night like in 2002 I didn't have a place to sleep and that was because I couldn't move into my new place until the next day. Luckily a guy named Mike Bennett let me stay on his couch for the night. I worked with him, I don't know if he knows how much I appreciated that. 

The Artwork-I loved this one. It's not just a normal character but he has a hat with a feather in it, a sword and a cape-exciting stuff! Plus the movie was way better than I thought it would be. It could still use some work. Simple tools that I didn't think about until later in the year like a ruler and better outlining pencils would have made this a better picture.

Day 31 and not a word from my family as to why I've abruptly stopped drawing after doing it everyday for a year.
