The Thirty Seventh One 2/9/24

If you read these please start from the first day.

Owning a business is like a rollercoaster. You start at the bottoms and slowly go up then when you're at the top and you think “great, everything great, I'm going to be financially ok” but then you start to drop and all he!! breaks loose. You're twisting and turning and just trying to hang on. Then you come to a slow stop and everyone gets off and you think you're done, everything is ok but NOOOO it starts again but this time it's like an entirely new track and somehow there's a baby in your hands and it's on fire but you're also completely submerged in water. This is how me and a lot of other business owners feel. It's kind of why we do it. I mean of course money is always number one, then freedom but it's an adventure. You never know what the next day is going to bring. Someone tried to break into the dumpster-what? But ok. A lady we moved eight months ago called and said we stole two of her sweaters and she wants them back now or she is calling the police? Ok. A guy said we ran over his cat, he has no proof and we have never heard of him but ok. At a job the husband pulled out a gun and told our crew “you will move what I tell you to move '' (this really happened, it was a divorce situation, they put down the furniture, ran away and called the police). All of these actually really happened. I always think I've heard it all but I get surprised by something that makes me say “What the….!!!”. There's a lot more expletives but I don't like to write curse words in this blog.

The Artwork-I liked this one. I never saw the movie Monsters but I think this is pretty close to what this guy looks like. The hand came out well and there's even a little shading in the eyes.  But I can still tell there's some things I would do differently like the shading and some of the shapes would be more well defined.

Day 38 and not a word from my family as to why I've abruptly stopped drawing after doing it everyday for a year.
