If you read these please start from the first day.
Wooooo!1! What an exciting morning. It was supposed to be a slow day but then a client from tomorrow has to move today so I had to start calling around to find a crew to do it. That's what we do- our very best to do whatever a client needs. We understand moving is already a stressful situation and there are a lot of moving parts so we like to be like a sturdy rock that you can depend on no matter what. But some people think we have guys just hanging around the office ready to jump at a moment's notice to do a move, but that's not how it works. If it's a same day move we either already have a crew working that can do a “job 2” or we try our best to call some guys who want to work. Sometimes they aren't doing anything and want to come in to get some hours and sometimes they are already in the middle of a family day and can't work. Today was a combination of both, we already had a two man crew doing a small job and we called in a third guy to come in like at 11 (because the job that got moved to today is a three man job). We are not a company who forces their employees to work or holds it against them if they don't come on their day off. We very much are of the mindset that this is just a job and life is meant to be enjoyed on your days off; overall this makes for happy employees who are going to do a better job.
The Artwork-This one was definitely for my son. He was in a phase reading all of the Goosebumps books and one day I surprised him with this one. His name is Slappy, he is an evil dummy that comes alive and causes havoc to whoever is in his way. But come on-look at him!I think I was able to convey his evilness through my drawing. His eyes and mouth pretty much set the tone and he even has a nice little bow tie and flower on his lapel. The furrowed eyebrows and lines that come from his mouth to let you know he is a dummy really rounds this one out. I'm getting scared just looking at him.
Day 37 and not a word from my family as to why I've abruptly stopped drawing after doing it everyday for a year. Like this one here we had a huge conversation about when I drew it, so its not like I sat in a corner and drew stuff without them knowing. But it blows my mind that no one has mentioned my sudden stoppage of any type of artwork after one year.
