If you read these please start from the first day.
Monday, Monday, Monday!!! Every other Monday I have the honor to attend the Chamber of Commerce “Leads and Luminaries” meeting. It's a meeting with like 20 other business owners in our area. We have an hour-long meeting and discuss what's going on with our businesses, exchange advice, talk about what's going on business wise in the community and most importantly try to somehow leverage that into more business for everyone involved. If you would have told me ten years ago that this was something I would get to do every other week I'm not sure if I would have believed you. It's an invitation only group so I was pretty thrilled and a little shocked when they asked me to join. There's other “Lead and Luminaries” groups in this Chamber of Commerce but I just happen to be in the one that meets on Mondays. I think it's important to be involved in the community. Whatever you can do to give back. I started volunteering my first semester at St. Pete College. I just worked like one or two hours a week in the writing lab, helping people learn the basics of writing a paper. From there I tried to volunteer whenever I could. Its opened a lot of doors and I've found out that whatever you get back from the universe is like 10 fold (not that's why I do it). Then like two years ago someone from that same college called our company looking for quotes to pick up food once a week from one location and distribute it to three different locations for their food bank. I immediately said we would do it for free. So every week we pick up this food and deliver it free of charge. I've never advertised this or posted about it, I just do it to help people out. It costs the company about $150 a week to do it but it's totally worth it. I strongly believe if everyone just volunteered like one hour a week to help people out then this world would be a much better place.
The Artwork-I loved this one. It's Woody Woodpecker. I think the hands came out perfect, the colors look good together and the proportions are great. Once again if anyone is reading this and wants me to send them one in a frame just let me know and I'll send it to you.
Day 34 and not a word from my family as to why I've abruptly stopped drawing after doing it everyday for a year.
