Things People Say Are Great Sometimes

I hope you enjoy these. For anyone who doesnt know,this is a year long project for myself where I write a blog entry a day. The artwork is something I did last year. Before 1/3/23 I had never drawn one thing in my entire life and then one day I decided to teach myself to draw and drew like 350 pictures last year. It's not just for me but also for Swift Moves in hopes of getting our rankings up on search engines. Does it work? Who knows. If anyone enjoys the artwork I post and wants me to send them an original, let me know and I'll send it to you in a frame.

This is going to be a short one. Sometimes in life when things are the best, someone says something or does one thing that makes you realize all the other stuff isn't as bad as it seems and you have to take that one little morsel and appreciate it. Yesterday I picked my daughter up from somewhere and she told me “you know I'm glad I have you and Mom as parents. I talk to some of my other friends and their parents arent anywhere as cool or as nice as you so I appreciate what you do”. After I picked my jaw up off the floor and hid my tears I told her thank you and tried to tell her how hard it is to make it this way. I think she's finally getting how hard it is to do what we do as parents. But I've been pretty much on a high since she told me this and it's one of the nicer things that has happened to me this year. I hope whoever is reading this gets to be 1000th as blessed as I was yesterday because it was a great feeling. Have a nice day. 

The Artwork-It baby Cookie Monster! I love this one. His eyes are on point. The color matched up perfectly. I always talk about the color but you have to realize there's like 1200 different colors that we normally see and I have like 200 different colored pencils so when I get a different color blue like this I'm glad when it matches up perfectly. Overall the proportions are great, the colors are great but what I like most about this one is how he's eating the cookie and there's little crumbs falling out of his mouth and down his body. I hope you enjoy it! 

Contest-This is an ongoing contest. It's a weird thing. On 6/27/24 we started with $10 then everyday I'm adding $1. The first person to call in or comment or message gets the money. Here's the kicker. You can either call in right now and get $10 (or whatever it happens to be this day) or wait till the next day when the money goes up. I think I have like 175 days left so the pot can get up to almost $200. It's free money, it's not a scam, it's in the marketing budget. No employees or employee families are eligible.
