I hope you enjoy these. For anyone who doesnt know, this is a year long project for myself where I write a blog entry a day. The artwork is something I did last year. Before 1/3/23 I had never drawn one thing in my entire life and then one day I decided to teach myself to draw and drew like 350 pictures last year. It's not just for me but also for Swift Moves in hopes of getting our rankings up on search engines. Does it work? Who knows. If anyone enjoys the artwork I post and wants me to send them an original, let me know and I'll send you a framed copy.
I know it sounds repetitive but we here at Swift Moves who move people for a living are still preparing for the hurricane. Besides the normal stuff like making sure everything around our building is ok, we are also keeping in constant contact with all of our clients for the next few days. A few have rescheduled but most have stayed ke[pt the same date because it just seems like the most feasible option. We might luck out abd it will go around us. The legend is St.Pete has ancient Indian Burial Grounds that protect the peninsula from hurricanes. And I don't really disagree. I've lived here a fantastic 26 years and the hurricanes have avoided us for the last part. We have only had one that had any type of great impact, let's hope that streak stays alive this week. There are really true blue ancient Indian Burial Grounds, that's not made up or anything, you can go see them.
But back to Swift Moves and why we are awesome. Moving is a stressful task and adding a hurricane in the mix does not make stuff easier. If the company you hire is not on top of things it can turn into a real complicated move. We here at Swift Moves have the experience, knowledge and care enough to make the move go as smoothly as possible-hurricane be darned!! We have been through it plenty of times. We are not some company who doesn't care about moving you on the day we commit to moving you. We will do whatever is necessary to get you moved the day we said we would move you. Moving is all we think about. It's all we discuss. We realize we are all lucky to have what we consider cool jobs and we will do whatever we have to in order to keep these jobs; this really only consists of giving the best possible customer service possible-even during a hurricane. I guess what I'm trying to say is if Swift Moves commits to doing a move for you we will get it done no matter what and we will always do our best job for you!
The Artwork-Of everything I ever drew I think this is the one who needs the least introduction. It's Mickey Mouse! But he's in a vampire costume. Even though he looks ok I could never quite get the proportions perfect on Mickey. His cheeks look almost like a chipmunk. I love his smile and his glove. And I love how his ears are such a darker black than his cape. His fangs look cool and who can't love a red bowtie and purple cape! I hope you enjoy it!
Contest-This is an ongoing contest. It's a weird thing. On 6/27/24 we started with $10 then everyday I'm adding $1. The first person to call in or comment or message gets the money. Here's the kicker. You can either call in right now and get $10 (or whatever it happens to be this day) or wait till the next day when the money goes up. I think I have like 175 days left so the pot can get up to almost $200. It's free money, it's not a scam,
it's in the marketing budget. No employees or employee families are eligible. I hope you win! The total on 9/24/24 is $95.
In about a two days or so from now I will be starting a new workout routine to finish this year off. As it gets closer I get a little more nervous and am starting to dread it just a little bit because it is going to be a lot of work and by far the most exercise I've ever done. I'm really going to challenge myself and I am not even sure if I will be able to physically do it. I'm calling it the 100/100/100 challenge. I'm getting old and need to start taking better care of my body. I've been doing some very light workouts to get these old bones loosened up this week.
