We Were Proud To Be #2

I hope you enjoy these. For anyone who doesnt know,this is a year long project for myself where I write a blog entry a day. The artwork is something I did last year. Before 1/3/23 I had never drawn one thing in my entire life and then one day I decided to teach myself to draw and drew like 350 pictures last year. It's not just for me but also for Swift Moves in hopes of getting our rankings up on search engines. Does it work? Who knows. If anyone enjoys the artwork I post and wants me to send them an original, let me know and I'll send it to you in a frame. 

College football started yesterday and while it's not my biggest hobby, I do tune in a little. I may have mentioned before that I graduated from the University of South Florida. While its not know as a football powerhouse, at one point we were ranked #2 in the nation. It was awesome. We are normally not ranked anywhere so to be in the top 25 was great. We started off like 23rd then went to 13th and then one week we were ranked #2! Number 2 in the entire nation! So my Brother-In-Law and I went to the game where they were ranked to watch them play West Virginia. I had never been and still have never been to a stadium that felt like this. It was electric, you could feel something special in the air. The game was held at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa and I thought the entire thing was going to collapse from the weight and excitement of the fans. I was present at game 7 in 2008 when the Tampa Bay Rays beat the Red Sox to advance to the World Series and that wasn't even close to what I felt that night at Raymond James (it was a night game). They won the game and I can't remember what happened after that. I know we were  not ranked at the end of the year so they must have started losing. I hope we can sometime get back to being ranked in the top 25 or better yet #1 in the nation!

The Artwork-This was probably the simplest one I drew this year, I must have been in a hurry that day. I'm not sure where its from or who it is but it looks ok. There's not a lot to say about it except its purple and looks really weird. It does have giant eyes. I hope you enjoy it! 

Contest-This is an ongoing contest. It's a weird thing. On 6/27/24 we started with $10 then everyday I'm adding $1. The first person to call in or comment or message gets the money. Here's the kicker. You can either call in right now and get $10 (or whatever it happens to be this day) or wait till the next day when the money goes up. I think I have like 175 days left so the pot can get up to almost $200. It's free money, it's not a scam, it's in the marketing budget. No employees or employee families are eligible. I hope you win! 

The total on 9/1/24 is $74. 

In a couple of weeks I will be starting a new workout routine to finish this year off. I'm really going to challenge myself but I am not sure if I will be able to physically do everything i am asking myself to do. I get more excited about it everyday, I'm really looking forward to starting a work out routine but its going to be tough (actually I'm excited BECAUSE its going to be tough.
