What if the Internet Really Went Out?

The 158th One 6/9/24

I hope you enjoy these. If anyone enjoys the artwork I post and wants me to send them

So the internet was out briefly yesterday and it got me thinking-what's going to happen to all of us if the internet really goes out-like worldwide catastrophe? We're all in trouble. Not just the kids who watch youtube videos all day or make tik-tok videos all day. Its going to affect all of us in a negative way and there's nothing we can do about it. Like it or not our lives are very much woven into the internet. From work schedules to texting to calling to paying bills to all forms of entertainment including your cable which goes out at my house if the internet is down.

First of all, how would we know it's down? We would spend the first hour thinking its just us. Then hopefully on the radio or television we can see it will inform us of what's actually happening. Then I imagine some type of War of the Worlds scenario where everyone is running around like crazy people. After that I'm not sure but I really hope it gets fixed. I think people my age and older all like to hold our heads up high and think we are above the fray and we can make it without the internet because that's how we grew up but we know that's not true. We are 100% dependent on the internet. I challenge anyone to go a day without it. If you're not out in the woods and have this type of real business to do then you'll go insane without it. The point of this post is-If the internet goes out we won't know it happened until way too late and we will all go crazy and it will turn into some type of Mad Max terror dome type of society. Best of luck, Have a great day1

The Artwork-This guy is big and goofy and cool. I think it's the guy from “Where the Wild Things Are”. He looks like an overgrown adolescent who is just getting comfortable in his skin. His eyes and teeth give him a really innocent look. The nails could have come out better but who's counting. I enjoyed drawing him and I hope you enjoy looking at him.

Day 52 of the elliptical-Day 35 (out of 60) of 60 minutes straight on the elliptical. I did 45 minutes on level seven and then 15 minutes on level 8. It was a little harder than the day before.  I'm slowly getting to that 9 setting, but we will get there soon enough.
