I hope you enjoy these. If anyone enjoys the artwork I post and wants me to send them an original, let me know and I'll send it to you in a frame.
I wrote a few weeks ago how I grew up on Scott Blvd in Temple, TX. The road went to the left of my house about ¼-½ of a mile and then stopped at a dead end, then there was a little field then the hospital. To the right it went about a mile then stopped at 57th st where the 7-11 was. There were houses all up and down this street. But what blows my mind as I think back is that about once a month all the seniors from high school would start at the top of the hill (the left of my house) and DRAG race all the way down to the 7-11! Our town was small but still a little city, it wasn't in the middle of nowhere. This went on from about age 6 till about age 12. So there's me and all my neighborhood friends sitting on our front lawn watching 18 year old's go 100mph down a residential street. It wasn't the safest of places. From what I could tell this had been going on long before we moved there. Luckily no one got hurt that I know of. I do know that they stopped one time and tried to intimate me and a lot of my 10 year old friends but quickly got back into their respective cars and left when they realized the adult that stepped out of the bushes they were talking to had a .357 in his left hand. I have never seen so many people run so fast! What did they expect? There were like 20 teenagers who were trying to beat up a bunch of 12 year olds. Who had the gun you asked? It doesn't matter, it was Texas and that was quicker than calling the police. So to recap. Growing up teenagers used to drag race down my residential street on weekends and one time they got a gun pulled on them for trying to start a fight with adolescents.
The Artwork-I love this one! Anything I got to draw that had lots of bright colors I always enjoyed drawing. But this guy looks like a 16 year old kid ready to attack the world. I'm pretty sure it's Crash Bandicoot. The teeth or lack thereof give him a great smile, then the gloves on his hands let one know that this guy is about to get dirty, Add his bright green eye to see well with and his fast red shoes-this guy is ready to get down! I hope you enjoy it.
Day 56 of the elliptical-The time of me doing and writing about the elliptical is done. I achieved my goal. I am currently gorging myself and eating lots of junk food. Ill do this for a few days and then hop back on the elliptical, but not for this blog-Ill be doing it for my health.
