I hope you enjoy these. For anyone who doesnt know, this is a year long project for myself where I write a blog entry a day. The artwork is something I did last year. Before 1/3/23 I had never drawn one thing in my entire life and then one day I decided to teach myself to draw and drew like 350 pictures last year. It's not just for me but also for Swift Moves in hopes of getting our rankings up on search engines. Does it work? Who knows. If anyone enjoys the artwork I post and wants me to send them an original, let me know and I'll send you a framed copy.
When you or a company you hired to move you are moving you, you always want to park the truck as close as you possibly can to the door you are loading or unloading at. Something that a lot of people don't take full advantage of when they are moving is where they park the truck. This would seem obvious but I've seen a lot of parked trucks that would say different. When I was moving furniture you could bet everything that no one could possibly park the truck closer. I would pull in between two cars and back up within inches of the front door. Sometimes the ramp would literally be inside the front door. The closer the truck is to whatever door you are using the faster the job is going to go and you will either save time or money. I've met crews on jobs before and was like “hold on, let's move this car, back this truck up and save ½ an hour.” Same thing if you rent your own truck. The closer you get the faster you're going to get done, there's no need to spend extra time moving, you have other stuff to do. If there is more than one entrance I would literally count steps to both doors and see which one was closer and park as close as possible. I realize this may seem like a no-brainer but it's not, trust me, you have to take that extra step when you have a truck for moving and get it parked as close as possible.
The Artwork-I would think it's fairly obvious what i think about this drawing-who would not love a laser shooting shark! I don't know where it's from but maybe an Austin Power movie. He has a laser strapped to his back! And he's a shark! I like his eyes and his mouth, they make him look very serious. Below his fin there's part of the strap that holds the laser on, like the strap was too long. Not a lot going on with the actual artwork but I have lots of questions about the shark. Who put the laser on him? Who is he shooting at? Does the laser shoot through water? I hope you enjoy it!
Contest-This is an ongoing contest. It's a weird thing. On 6/27/24 we started with $10 then everyday I'm adding $1. The first person to call in or comment or message gets the money. Here's the kicker. You can either call in right now and get $10 (or whatever it happens to be this day) or wait till the next day when the money goes up. I think I have like 175 days left so the pot can get up to almost $200. It's free money, it's not a scam,
it's in the marketing budget. No employees or employee families are eligible. I hope you win! The total on 9/19/24 is $90.
In about a five days or so from now I will be starting a new workout routine to finish this year off. I'm really going to challenge myself and I am not even sure if I will be able to physically do it. I'm calling it the 100/100/100 challenge. As the days get closer I'm getting more excited but I'm also dreading it a little bit because it's going to be a challenge to myself that I've never even come close to doing. I'm getting old though and need to start taking better care of my body. I've been doing some very light workouts to get these old bones loosened up this week.
Here are some key words I have been advised to say for the Google algorithm= junk removal, junk hauling, moving reviews
