People Are Going To People

I hope you enjoy these. For anyone who doesnt know,this is a year long project for myself where I write a blog entry a day. The artwork is something I did last year. Before 1/3/23 I had never drawn one thing in my entire life and then one day I decided to teach myself to draw and drew like 350 pictures last year. It's not just for me but also for Swift Moves in hopes of getting our rankings up on search engines. Does it work? Who knows. If anyone enjoys the artwork I post and wants me to send them an original, let me know and I'll send you a framed copy.

I've always liked the phrase “people are going to people”, meaning people are going to do weird stuff no matter what. A guy raised a tiger in a 800 square foot apartment in NYC that eventually attacked him?-“people are going to people”. Someone tried to Weekend at Bernie's their dead uncle into the social security office to collect his benefits?-“people are going to people” Someone who has worked for me for five years is going to flip out and almost quit last week because I politely asked him to take out the trash?-“people are going to people”. That last one might have happened. 

We hear weird stories like this everyday and you would think we would be used to it but we still are all like “WTF?”. As far as I know it's been happening for centuries if not millennia. Like the one Roman Emperor who had his army fight the water in the sea to try to defeat his army. It makes no sense but-“people are going to people”. I love these outrageous stories but for the most part I wish a woman didn't raise a chimpanzee that eventually ate her face off. Or the prison guard did not help two convicted murderers escape (like she didn't think she was going to get caught?). Or an astronaut drove straight through from  Texas to Florida with a diaper on to try to kill her ex-boyfriends new girlfriend. All these stories really happened and there's countless more that happen every single day but “people are going to people”.

The Artwork-Oh I love this one. It's Mario but in a bee costume. He's got a cute little hat with tentacles coming out of it. The way he's flying one way but turning his head looking back is awesome. His eyes and mustache look great. But what I love more than anything is how you can see through his wings but it's not 100% clear. The wings are opaque so I had to still color them in but a much lighter shade to show how they are kind of transparent.  Plus the way his feet are cocked at different angles gives the appearance of him floating/flying. This was one of my most favorite things to draw all year. I hope you enjoy it! 

Contest-This is an ongoing contest. It's a weird thing. On 6/27/24 we started with $10 then everyday I'm adding $1. The first person to call in or comment or message gets the money. Here's the kicker. You can either call in right now and get $10 (or whatever it happens to be this day) or wait till the next day when the money goes up. I think I have like 175 days left so the pot can get up to almost $200. It's free money, it's not a scam, it's in the marketing budget. No employees or employee families are eligible. I hope you win! 

The total on 9/7/24 is $78. 

In about 8 days I will be starting a new workout routine to finish this year off. I'm really going to challenge myself and I am not sure if I will be able to physically do it. I'm calling it the 100 in 100 challenge. Details to come later. I'm getting more excited as the days get closer. I'm eating as much junk food as possible because when I start this routine I'm going to have to start eating better.
