I was watching Lethal Weapon the other day, the first one-the best one, and in one the scenes Murtaugh's daughter is driving a limo through the desert running from the bad guys when a helicopter appears and starts ramming the limo with the chopper trying to make her stop trying to rescue her Dad. My question is-do these helicopter pilots get paid well? I'm not talking about in real life, that's a trained Hollywood pilot-I'm talking about in Lethal Weapon world. The crime syndicate is run by Mr. Joshua who is played by Gary Busey. So did Mr. Joshua find some old war buddy and talk him into being a helicopter pilot for his crime organization? But it's not just picking up and dropping off people from various crimes and events-the job description also entails possibly trying to murder an underage girl and possibly killing multiple police officers. I mean-what do you do to compensate someone for this service? A normal helicopter pilot makes like $75,000-$100,000 a year-so what do they actually pay a guy to possibly kill these people? $200K? $300K? I'm not sure but this is just a thought I had the other day and thought it would be a great thing to write about today.
The Artwork-I remember being so excited when I found out I could draw this one. It's Smurfette!!! What a great name. The Smurfs to me were the perfect Saturday morning cartoon for those of us who grew up in the 1980’s. This one brings back real memories. The drawing itself is amazing in my eyes. Starting from her hat with the little bit of shadowing, to her amazing blonde hair, her big blue eyes, the way her mouth is to the side plus her dress and shoes makes this Smurfette something I'm really proud of drawing.
Day 16 of the elliptical-I went from 40 minutes to 45 minutes last night.
Going for 48 minutes tonight. I must say I'm pretty shocked that I have went from zero to 45 minutes in16 days. I've lost weight but that's not the point of this challenge to myself.
