The Forty Third One-2/15/24

If you read these please start from the first day.

Another fun day at the moving company but I'm not going to bore you with the same details that I've talked about in the past like how we have to hustle our butts off, make constant changes, make 20 phone calls and do whatever we have to do to get the jobs we committed to completed. That's just normal business and that's why we are a great company; we know we are fully booked up today and something might go wrong so we have contingency plans to make sure the jobs get done if something goes bananas. I might not sleep because I'm running all the plans through my head all night but they still get done. At Swift Moves we can proudly say we have been in business for over eight years and completed over 10,000 moves and never, ever once have we stood up a client or committed to a job that we did not do. We have been late for a job before, but we still got the job completed. We get calls literally everyday from clients who say their moving company has stood them up and would like to know if we could help them that day. This makes us happy and sad. We are happy because we get extra work but we don't like that this new client of ours has been stood up by someone in this industry that they were depending on. We realize moving, no matter how big or small of a job, is a stressful endeavor and people are 100% depending o n us to be there. I don't understand how another company can just not show up to a job to which they were committed to. I don't care if I personally have to drive a 1976 Ford Pinto and move everything piece by piece and lose money on a job, if we commit to something-we are going to do it. I wouldn't want someone else to do it to me so I'm surely (don't call me Shirley!) not going to do it to someone else.

The Artwork-I Love this one. Its Mr. Potato head. He looks so annoyed. With his hands on his hips, furrowed eyebrows and and eyes that are just saying something like “Are you serious?”.  Plus I love his nose and mustache.

Day 44 and not a word from my family as to why I've abruptly stopped drawing after doing it everyday for a year.
