Where Did Summer Go?

I hope you enjoy these. For anyone who doesnt know,this is a year long project for myself where I write a blog entry a day. The artwork is something I did last year. Before 1/3/23 I had never drawn one thing in my entire life and then one day I decided to teach myself to draw and drew like 350 pictures last year. It's not just for me but also for Swift Moves in hopes of getting our rankings up on search engines. Does it work? Who knows. If anyone enjoys the artwork I post and wants me to send them an original, let me know and I'll send it to you in a frame.

Oh man, another exciting day at the moving company!!! The summer is always hectic. It hit me today that my kids' summer vacation is over half way over. They started June 3rd and go back August 10th. What? That's only 68 days! I remember and I bet a lot of other people do too, when summer vacation was a solid three months-90 days. When I was in school we had the entire months of June, July and August off. 90 days.  I think our kids are getting the short end of the stick these days. How am I supposed to summer in the South of France with only 68 days? It takes my yacht three weeks to even travel and then there's the three week trip back, that's like half the summer. That's a joke of course, we will be summering in the back yard and if time permits we will go to Outback Steakhouse. 

But also these kids don't take advantage of summer like we did.We rode our bikes everywhere and had adventures I still can't tell my parents about. These kids just stay on the phone the entire time. Oh well-I hope you enjoy your summer, whatever it may involve.

The Artwork-I think we all know who this is-It's Stewy from Family Guy! Overall he looks pok but I could not get the weird proportion of his head off and his left hand is a little out of whack. Other than that I like his facial features, he looks like the evil grump he usually is. And the colors match up pretty well to the original cartoon. The eyes, nore and hair trip me out on this guy. I hope you enjoy!

Contest-This is an ongoing contest. It's a weird thing. On 6/27/24 we started with $10 then everyday I'm adding $1. The first person to call in or comment or message gets the money.
